Large mug

A hand-thrown, curvy, stoneware mug. The mug holds a simple clean form and is made to a very high standard of craftsmanship. Its shape allows the mug to sit comfortably in the palm of your hand. The mug is a perfect size for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soup, etc.

The mug is finished with a British racing green glaze on the main body. Sapphire blue glaze has been added over the green just under the rim of the mug. Snow white has then been applied around the rim above the blue. The movement of the glazes together in the firing has created an oil spot design where the white meets the blue. The overall look is that of silhouetted mountains covered with snow beneath a white sky with green fields beneath.

This is a new, unique glaze combination for 2023.
