Stem vase

A unique, one of a kind small vase or decorative piece for the home. This is a beautiful one off piece that will make a fabulous gift or stand out piece for display in your own home. The vase is made from stoneware clay and has been hand thrown on the wheel. The glazing is a combination of three different glazes layered over each other. A rich obsidian glaze covers the main body of the vase, with indigo float blue on the top third and Ancient Jasper earthy brown on the rim of the vase. Where the glazes all melt in the firing process they run and form fine tributaries that have a delicate cascading effect.
